I recently purchased the lifetime PC version of some software. At first, everything seemed fine - I downloaded it, logged in, and used up the 5 trial sessions it gives you. But then when I went to keep using it, I got a message asking me to pay again! What the heck? I specifically remember being charged the $150 for the lifetime version. When I couldn't get it to work, I reached out to customer support and never heard back.
I'm pretty annoyed about this whole situation. I really like the software which is why I paid for the lifetime version in the first place. But now it's essentially useless because it won't let me update the license even though I already paid. I feel like I wasted my money. The company should really work on improving their customer service response time - it's ridiculous I haven't heard anything back yet.
